一件木家具或小木器是如何誕生的呢？
原來大溪是臺灣木家具及木藝師聚集的重鎮啊!
「一起向前走：木器的誕生之旅」特展邀請十二位來自大溪的木藝師，以及四間臺灣優秀的家具與木器工坊，示範由設計發想、開發打樣到實際生產的細節與流程。
本次特展與木藝師們攜手揭開木器誕生的秘密過程，從竭盡腦力設計、繪圖與製作模型、打樣測試，歷經反覆修正只為了滿足使用者的各項需求。
一件木器的誕生，是木藝師與消費者相互理解後的結晶，是開啟舒適生活的契機。

How does a piece of wooden furniture or a small wooden item come to be?
Did you know that Daxi is a major center for wood furniture and wood artisans in Taiwan?
""Forward Together - A Journey into the Birth of Woodcraft"" invites twelve wood artisans from Daxi, as well as four outstanding Taiwanese furniture and woodworking workshops, to demonstrate the details and processes from design conception and prototype development to actual production.
This special exhibition partners with wood artisans to unveil the intricate process of creating wooden items. This involves extensive design efforts, including drawing, model making, and prototype testing, all subject to repeated modifications to meet the diverse needs of users.
The birth of a wooden item represents the culmination of mutual understanding between the wood artisan and the consumer, serving as an opportunity to open the doors to a comfortable lifestyle.
