First, the character ""築"" refers to bamboo, as its sound echoes the material’s name in Chinese. Bamboo has long symbolized humility and resilience in Chinese culture, and it plays a key role in this design. The designer, Huang Junjie, utilized bamboo’s elasticity and malleability to form the chair's curved backrest and rear legs, highlighting the importance of bamboo in the structure and symbolism of the piece.
Next, ""夢"" or ""dream"" reflects Huang's vision for the design. His dream is to reimagine traditional bamboo furniture through modular structures and creative innovation.
