Bamboo has long symbolized humility and resilience in Chinese culture and has served as an essential material since ancient times. Designer Huang Junjie leverages bamboo’s natural flexibility and adaptability to form the chair’s circular backrest and rear leg structure, thus illustrating the potential of bamboo in contemporary furniture design.Next, “夢” (dream) symbolizes the designer’s conceptual vision: by innovating modular structures, Huang refines traditional bamboo furniture, pushing beyond the limits of any single material. This exploration of wood, bamboo, and rattan in tandem represents the designer’s pursuit of innovation and creative breakthroughs. Finally, “飛翔” (to soar) is expressed through the chair’s structural design. Its armrests unfold like outstretched wings, and with a spacious seat and lightweight legs, the user can experience a sense of floating on air, feeling both freedom and comfort. This piece not only serves its functional purpose but also conveys the designer’s overarching theme of “Building Dreams and Taking Flight,” embodying innovation, cultural resonance, and aesthetic refinement in a harmonious, integrated form. Finally, ""飛翔"" or ""flight"" is represented in the chair's form. The armrests spread out like wings, and the wide seat and light legs create a sense of floating for the user, symbolizing freedom and lightness. This element completes the design, bringing Huang’s dream of ""building and flying"" to life.Together, these three aspects of the name convey the designer’s holistic vision, combining innovation, cultural symbolism, and a sense of aesthetic freedom.
