「椅鼓頭」是臺灣民間對於圓面坐凳的俗稱，其亦有「椅頭仔」之稱，是農村民宅中最常見的椅具。因形小且便於搬動，能夠靈活應對各種臨時需求，還具有穩固和實用的特性，幾乎可以放置於任何地方。尤其在非儀式性空間中使用頻率最高，成為常見的輔助性坐具。
本件坐具設計特點為四條圓足外張，支撐穩固。這種古樸而結實的設計，結合凳面邊緣上下對稱的線腳，為整體造型增添了幾分秀氣，讓其在美學和功能上達到了平衡，並且展現了傳統工藝的耐久性和生活美感，象徵著臺灣民間家具文化中的一部分。
The ""Yi Gu Tou,"" commonly referred to as ""Yi Tou Zi"" in Taiwan, is a traditional round-seated stool frequently found in rural homes.
