Years ago, tall, soaring battlements were installed here to protect the safety of the head of state. Fast-forwar to today, the Ecomuseum took over the renovations of the building and lowered the height of the battlements, thus incorporating the complex with the greenery in the Park and drawing local residents to enjoy the community’s cultural heirlooms up-close.
Many crenels were found during structural renovations. These crenels were likely occupied by the sentries when they were on duty. A set of steps—elevated by rocks—is considered to be where the sentries stood watch.
