大溪郡役所舊構及留置場
本建築推測最早建於日治時期，當時各地郡役所內設有警察課，並設置「留置場」進行拘留工作，戰後大溪郡役所建築由大溪警察分局使用，而留置場被沿用做為短暫拘留嫌疑犯的「拘留所」空間。
Daxi District Office: Old structure and jail cells
This building is surmised to have been built during the period of Japanese occupation (1895-1945). District offices then included police sections and had jail cells. After the end of World War II the district office was taken over by the Daxi Precinct of the Taoyuan Police Department, and the cells were used for the short-term detention of criminal suspects.
