「木」是大溪百年的傳統產業，從唐山匠師到定居大溪，製造神桌、家具銷售全台；「木」是生活中常見的材料，小至吃飯用的器具到廟宇裡的樑柱，無所不在；「木」更是學生跨領域學習的媒介，透過觀察、感受，啟發孩子對木的想像。
我們努力打造有趣的木生活體驗，希望讓大家更認識木藝。經過好幾年來的努力，終於在大漢溪畔的小屋裡開辦了常態木育手作課程。
2021年4月起，每月第二個週六下午，一起來參加木工課吧！

Woodworking is the centennial heritage industry of Daxi, dating back to the time when woodcraftsmen from Tangshan, China, to Daxi, crafting altars and furniture and selling them around Taiwan. Wood is a staple material prevalent in our daily experience, used for many purposes, from the dining utensils to the pillars and columns of the temple. They are omnipresent. Wood is also a learning medium for schoolchildren in their interdisciplinary studies. It’s used to spark their imagination as they observe and feel the warmth and texture of wood.
We are hard at work fashioning an entertaining woodcraft experience curriculum in hopes of encouraging greater understanding of this art form. Following several years of hard work, a routine wood handicraft course has finally been launched in a cabin by Dahan River.
